Dinner at Hanu lui Manuc (wikipedia history), right around the corner from my hotel. I didn’t take enough photos because my mind was elsewhere, but here is my dinner and dessert….Sarmalute cu mamaliguta and papanași. Wonderful food, wonderful surroundings, wonderful company. This is a beautiful place, with a rich history, and lovely entertainment. Again, I wish I had gotten more photos…but I’ve included a couple from the internet to show the beauty of it.

Then a short last walk through the Old City with a little rain starting to fall as if the sky was crying….

Back in my room at 11:33pm, and having to get up in just a few hours, I wrote:
